About Ian broadbent
Meet the Author
Ian started his writing career with the successful tailsinthedales series set in the Washburn valley close to Harrogate aimed at a junior audience featuring Charlie the dog and his farm friends. Ian has also written a thriller based in the north west, Yorkshire and other global locations with the book mixing his upbringing in a Lancashire town, with his love of travel and geopolitical events. Ian is passionate about the outdoors and encouraging children to read or be read to and has commendations for his work in schools at home and abroad. As well as his writing Ian also appears at school events, rural markets and educational events promoting children’s literature and also ghost writes short stories and poetry for others. Away from writing his passions are walking, running, live music and most sports.
